The only exception to this rule is angels who were born <strong>premature<\/strong>, who should be wearing <strong>two <\/strong>extra layers until they reach the recommended weight centile.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Getting your baby dressed can in itself be a tricky process, especially if you have a little wriggler on your hands. Luckily, we have a few tips on how to clothe your kiddo whilst avoiding any tears. Here\u2019s a few handy rules for buying clothes for your bub.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>You can count on cotton <\/strong>\u2013 cotton is soft on your little one\u2019s skin whilst also being breathable.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Loose sleeves <\/strong>\u2013 when dressing your darling, it\u2019s always best to <strong>pull <\/strong>their arm through the sleeve rather than pushing, and loose sleeves make the process easier.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Fasten at the front<\/strong> \u2013 it\u2019s best to change your sweetie whilst they\u2019re lying on their back, which is why we recommend front-fastening clothes.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>No strings or ribbons <\/strong>\u2013 these can get tangled around your munchkin, so it\u2019s important to avoid them.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>To dress your little dear in the safest manner, dress their top half whilst holding them in your lap. And <strong>battery-operated toys <\/strong>should have their battery cases <strong>well secured <\/strong>with screws.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Electric toys<\/strong> are a <strong>no-go<\/strong> \u2013 babies love of putting things in their mouths!
